ETC

The ETC (Estimate to Complete) field is available on a number of screens.  In some instances, it may represent the users remaining effort estimate at an assignment level.  In other instances, it may reflect the total remaining ETC value for a task or even project (simply depends on which screen you are viewing).

Depending on the Enable ETC Collection on Timesheet (unatime.etc_collection.enabled) property, end users can update their own ETC information via the Time >> ETC screen or via the Timesheet >> View Icon. The value entered would represent the remaining effort for the project or task (as of a particular date depending on your policy).  When supplying a new value or updating an existing value in this field, the associate Last Updated On value is stamped with the system's current date at the time the record is saved.
