Logo Customization: System Administrators can customize the logo to display a client's logo in place of the Unanet logo for branding purposes.
Electronic Signature on Customer Invoice: Billing Managers, Administrators, and Billing Viewers can generate a PDF for a customer invoice with an electronic signature on it. This saves the customers time and ensures that the government requirements (Certification Statements) to include the signature are met. The signer can be specified on the Project Billing page and overridden on the Invoice >> Setup page.
New People Planner (only available to Cloud customers): New allocation details to show booked projects and leave factors. Allows planners to see the details associated with the resource's utilization numbers for a single period or for the person across multiple periods.
Align Accrual Details and Accrual Summary Reports: When the Standardize Accrual Calculation method for both Accrual Details report and the Accrual Summary report (unanet.standardize.accrual.calculation.for.accrualreports) property is enabled, the accrual balances on the People Accrual Summary Report will match the amounts on the People Accrual Detail Report.
Project People Assignments: Administrators, P&R Administrators, and Resource Assigners can import and export intercompany assignments (only available for Cloud customers and if your system has multi-entity accounting enabled).
Project Administrator Import and Export: Include Customer Invoice customer and project approvers (available to Cloud customers only).
Invoice Status Report: Show pending approvals and reviews for Customer Invoices (available to Cloud customers only).
Updates to 1099 Accounts for 2021 Reporting Period: Added 1099-MISC, Box 11 - Fish Purchased for Resale, 1099-NEC, Box 5b - Local Tax Withheld, and 1099-NEC, Box 7b - Local Income 1099 categories.
Customer Invoice Approval Process: Includes a new AR Manager role, new Accounts Receivable Approval Group, and new submittal and approval processes. Only available for Cloud customers and when Require Approvals Customer Invoice (approval_process.require.approval.customer_invoice) property is "Required" or "Optional".
Project Planning and Resource Management: A redesigned, easy to use, people planner grid. Includes drag and drop capability to move hours to a new user or a different period, easier plan attributes management, and frozen headers and columns for easier viewing. Only available for Cloud customers.
Mobile App: Enhanced Mobile App to support M&IE Per Diem Allowable wizard for expenses.
Export Expense Reports with Attachments: System Administrators can export expense reports in bulk with their related attachments to distribute the expense reports with supporting documentation.
Import/Export Functionality for Non-administrators: System Administrators can give Data Import Users and Data Export Users authorized access to certain imports and exports. This reduces the overhead on system administrators. Also, having a separate role to import and export allows more control over how many employees have the System Administrator role.

Please review the compatibility matrix for supported Unanet versions.
Should you need to update your database version you will want to do this prior to running the Unanet migration.
The process of updating your SQL Server database involves the creation of a backup of the database in the older version and then a restore of that file in the newer database version.
Java Memory Parameter Tuning -- Unanet 10.0 and up will require you to increase several memory related parameters in order to function properly. See Required Java Tuning for more information.
